Liquid Nitrogen (LIN)

ALIGAL 1

As an inert gas, it is very commonly used in contact with foodstuffs to avoid oxidation. Liquefied, it is the most used cryogenic fluid, to chill, freeze or store products.

Liquid Carbon Dioxide (LCO2) / Dry ice

ALIGAL 2

LCO2 is used in the food business as cryogenic fluid in chilling or freezing operations or as dry ice for temperature control during the distribution of foodstuffs.

Ozone

Ozone's very strong oxidation properties are sufficient to kill micro-organisms on food stuffs. Further, its short shelf life prevents products from any residual contamination. These interesting properties have been successfully used in fish farming water treatment, greenhouse nutritive solution recycling and sanitation of food products.
